Publications

On a regular basis, the Naxxar Local Council issues a a publication in Maltese in the form of a newspaper with the name of 'Il-Kuntatt mal-Kunsill tieghek'. This newspaper is issued every month and is distributed by hand to every household in the locality. 'Il-Kuntatt mal-Kunsill tieghek' usually includes an account of all recent past activities and projects and those planned for the near future.

The Local Council also used to issue two other publications: 'Kuntatt', a flyer in the English language sponsored by Maltacom plc and an e-publication with the name 'Naxxar e-News'. Past issues of the 'Naxxar e-News' can be accessed by clicking on the following banner.

At the end of term of the third Naxxar Local Council, another publication was issued with the name '3 Snin Hidma - Sahhahna l-Lokalita' Biex Int Tghix Ahjar' covering all the major projects, works and activities held during the three year period, 2000-2003. This publication was distributed to each household in the locality. The publication issued to cover the years 2003-2006 was called '3 Snin Hidma - Ghas-Servizz Tieghek'.

Apart from these publications, the Naxxar Local Council also gives one the opportunity to receive notices of a general nature, such as road closures, suspension of electricity and various activities organised by filling in one's e-mail address in the appropriate box on this web site and clicking 'send'.
